Sunday,  Feb 14:   2-5 practice and internal scrimmage.  Varsity and JV. Game is at Grassfield Elementary. Pizza to be served after practice weather permitting.

Saturday Feb 20:   10-2 scrimmage with Suffolk and hopefully Kellam.  Players to be determined later depending on Kellam participation  Game is at Grassfield Elementary

Saturday Feb 27:   10-4 2nd Annual Chesapeake HS Round Robin scrimmage with Great Bridge and Hickory;  Varsity and JV (actual Team game time TBD)..Game is at Grassfield Elementary

Saturday Mar 6:     10-2 JV scrimmage with Bishop Sullivan and Great Bridge (All 9th and 10th Graders..11 and 12 are not eligible to play because of TCIS rules which is followed by BS).  Game is at Bishop Sullivan

Saturday Mar 13:    11-1 Hybrid JV Game Norfolk Collegiate   Varsity Game 1-3  Games are at Norfolk Collegiate

Saturday Mar 20:     11-1 Varsity Game against First Flight HS Outer Banks(1 1/2 hr travel time). Game is at OBX

The rest of the season will be played during the week (Mon- Fri) with the possible exception of some JV games.

Varsity and JV teams will be determined in Feb.  Varsity team may invite some JV players to suit up for games during the season. These players will be selected by the coaches.

Hybrid JV team will include varsity 10th and selected 11th graders because the JV teams we play are good and the varsity players will provide stability that will prevent the games from being too lopsided.  The focus will be on the JV players but lopsided games are no fun…additionally blowout games will result in GFLC not being able to schedule follow on games for next year. Remember, private school JV teams are filled with players who have played for years vice our team which has just started this year.

Note: HRLAX JV schedule league games will only be JV players unless for some reason not enough players show up to play.

Monday 1Feb: Practice is back to 4-6 instead of  3-6 because school will be in session.

Monday 15 Feb: Practice is back to 4-6 because it school is in session vice being a holiday.

Saturday 20 Feb: Suffolk/Kellam Scrimmage at Grassfield Elementary now 10-2 vice 10-1.
